Eterra Attachments Return and Refund Policy

At Forest Equipment Co., we work closely with Eterra Attachments to ensure customers receive high-quality equipment and support. Because many Eterra products are large, heavy-duty attachments that ship via freight and may be built to order, special return and refund conditions apply.
Return Eligibility
Returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery provided that:
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in new condition.
- The product has not been damaged, modified, or altered after delivery.
- The product is returned in its original packaging whenever possible.
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been approved by Forest Equipment Co. and Eterra Attachments before the item is returned.
Returns sent without an approved RMA may be refused.
Return Authorization (RMA)
All returns require prior authorization.
To request a return:
- Contact Forest Equipment Co. within 30 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, product details, and reason for the return.
- If approved, we will provide return instructions and an RMA number.
All return requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
- Custom-built or modified products.
- Special-order products.
- Products showing signs of use, installation, wear, or damage.
- Products missing components, manuals, or original packaging.
- Clearance, closeout, or discontinued items marked as non-returnable.
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, negligence, or operation outside manufacturer specifications.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee determined by Eterra Attachments.
The applicable restocking fee, if any, will be communicated during the return authorization process and may be deducted from the refund amount.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to a verified shipping error or manufacturer defect:
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Freight charges incurred for returning oversized equipment are the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged Freight Shipments
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If freight damage is discovered:
- Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Take clear photographs of the packaging and product.
- Notify Forest Equipment Co. within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to report freight damage promptly may limit the ability to file a freight claim with the carrier.
Incorrect or Missing Items
If you receive an incorrect item or discover missing parts, please contact Forest Equipment Co. within 5 business days of delivery.
We will work with Eterra Attachments to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and inspected:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Any applicable restocking fees, shipping charges, or return freight costs will be deducted.
- Refund processing typically occurs within 5-15 business days after the returned item has been inspected and approved.
Manufacturer Warranty Claims
Products that develop a defect after delivery may be covered under Eterra's manufacturer warranty rather than the return policy.
Eterra provides a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and exclusions. Defective cylinders are covered for one year, and certain wear items and consumable components are excluded from warranty coverage.
Warranty claims must be submitted through Forest Equipment Co. and may require photographs, supporting documentation, inspection, or return of the defective component.
Order Cancellations
Before Shipment
Orders may be canceled before shipment, subject to supplier approval.
After Shipment
Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and will be subject to the standard return process.
Custom or Special-Order Products
Custom-built, modified, or special-order products may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun.
