Forax Equipment Ltd Return and Refund Policy

At Forest Equipment Co., we are an authorized dealer for Forax Equipment Ltd. Because Forax products are specialized equipment and are often manufactured, assembled, or prepared specifically for each order, returns, cancellations, and warranty claims are subject to the policies outlined below.
Returns
Due to the nature of heavy equipment attachments and specialty machinery, returns are not automatically accepted.
Return requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in writing by both Forest Equipment Co. and Forax Equipment Ltd before any product is returned.
To request a return:
- Contact Forest Equipment Co. within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, product details, and reason for the return.
- Do not return any product without prior authorization.
Unauthorized returns may be refused by the manufacturer and returned to the sender at the customer's expense.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
- Custom-built or made-to-order products
- Products that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged after delivery
- Products missing original components or documentation
- Clearance, special-order, or final-sale items
- Products returned without prior authorization
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before production, processing, or shipment begins.
Once an order has entered production, has been prepared for shipment, or has shipped, cancellation requests may be denied or may be subject to:
- Manufacturer cancellation charges
- Restocking fees
- Freight charges
- Administrative fees
Please contact Forest Equipment Co. immediately if you need to request a cancellation.
Damaged Shipments
All Forax shipments are insured during transit.
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If shipping damage is discovered:
- Note all visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
- Take clear photographs of: The damaged product, packaging materials, shipping labels, any visible freight damage.
- Retain all packaging materials.
- Notify Forest Equipment Co. within 48 hours of delivery.
Failure to document damage on the delivery receipt or provide supporting photographs may affect the ability to file and recover under the freight insurance claim process.
Forest Equipment Co. and Forax Equipment Ltd reserve the right to request additional information needed to process a freight damage claim.
Defective Products & Warranty Claims
Forax Equipment Ltd provides the original purchaser with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year or 1,500 operating hours, whichever occurs first.
Under this warranty, Forax Equipment Ltd may repair or replace defective parts at its discretion.
Warranty coverage does not include:
- Shipping damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Mulcher teeth, blades, and other wear parts
- Improper installation
- Improper maintenance
- Misuse, abuse, or alteration of the product
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the manufacturer's operating and maintenance instructions
A serial number is required for all warranty claim communications. Warranty claims must be approved by Forax Equipment Ltd before any repairs are performed. Costs incurred without prior authorization may not be reimbursed.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed after:
- The returned product has been received and inspected (if applicable).
- The manufacturer has reviewed the return authorization.
- Any applicable restocking, freight, or cancellation charges have been deducted.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, freight charges, installation costs, and service charges are generally non-refundable.
Incorrect Orders
If you believe you received the wrong product, please contact Forest Equipment Co. within 48 hours of delivery.
We will work with Forax Equipment Ltd to verify the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Limitation of Liability
Forest Equipment Co. and Forax Equipment Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of, inability to use, delay in delivery of, or failure of any product.
